I’m a designer who draws inspiration from the multifaceted nature of modern society and life. As someone who couldn’t stop and pick just one path in life, I threw myself into many different fields and environments. In university, I selected an interdisciplinary study of Political Science, Economics, History, Policy Science and Data Analytics. I’ve worked in education, supply chain, Design Thinking, community engagement and human resources. There was a time I even conducted marine research and conservation as a scuba diver volunteer! Over the years, I’ve discovered a common theme in all my experiences: I have an undeniable passion to curate memorable experiences, solve complex problems, understand different perspectives and unlock the potential of others.
Now, I’m relearning how to capture this essence, while being bold and experimental in my approach to design. While most of my projects lie within the realm of brand identity and UI/UX design, I believe that there should be no limits in the way a design is delivered to its audience. So I challenge myself to create interesting and captivating designs by utilising forms like installations, posters and zines with techniques such as risograph, linoleum and screen printing. I’ve also been exploring historical archives, inspired by the potential of incorporating vintage styles into my design.
